Private Art Lessons

Work with me one-on-one to explore your creativity. Identifying your interests in drawing & painting; learn at your own pace and focus on preferred techniques and mediums!

Why Private lessons?

For me, teaching one-on-one is an amazing way to learn at any age because everyone works at a different pace and have different interests. It allows me to create lessons towards what you enjoy and are curious about. My goal as an instructor is to create an environment for the student to have a stress free, fun, successful creative experience and make it as interesting as possible. Giving constructive criticism to help them grow and improve skills over time.

I want to emphasize this wouldn’t be a regular curriculum like school courses. I don’t place a grade on students work. Everyone has their own way of creative expression and I am here to help explore that! I believe art classes are about making progress and developing skills not just for a final product. Art is never finished just paused we can always add on or adjust things later.

More information!

  • Class length depends on the student and the budget, but usually classes are 1 hour long, some can be 1.5 to 2 hours. We can discuss further if it would be once a week or every other depending on schedules. I also understand that time, interests, and budgets change and if we need to take a pause just communicate with me!

  • I teach via Zoom. I will send you the link through email with a passcode and we can get class started!

  • I teach Monday- Friday. For home schoolers or those with more flexible hours during the day I try to fit in the Morning/ Midday. During the school year I know it’s a little tricky but I try to reserve 3:30- 6:30pm for those students. If that doesn’t work I can see how weekends plan out. Please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can work together on this!

  • Classes are $50 an hour.

  • If a student needs to cancel a class for any reason; illness, family emergency, etc. it has to be 24 hours before the scheduled class.

If a class is scheduled and I am on the call for more than 15 minutes, but the student has forgotten or is a “no show”, I still require payment for that scheduled class.
